Setting up a "Light" Health and Safety Form user

Allow a user to see light health and safety event form only

Some users can be set up with access to a simplified form for logging health and safety events.  This allows them to only access the health and safety form in Acuite.  They won't have any access to any of the dashboards in Acuite.

To set the person up as a "light" user, go to:

  • System settings, Companies menu

* Find the user name under the Company name
* Click on the Edit button
* This will open the person modal below.
* Select the checkbox "Person is Light User"
* You will notice that the "Role" is greyed out, or not required.  This is because the 'light user' flag overrides any other permissons.
* Click Save

  • NOTE:  'Light' users will have access to log events for all projects.

When the user logs in they will only see the "light" health and safety event form.  They will be able to log incidents and observations for any project, for the event types that have been set up for the light form.  ie - the light incident form can be set up so that it is only available for logging certain event types, eg, low severity events.


What events can a light user log?

Light users can only log events for categories that are visible on the Light incident form.   This is set in System Settings > Health Safety Form Settings > Categories >  select HSE category and select "Show for Light Users".
