Acuite has already built a number of integrations with 3rd party systems which are available to all Acuite customers. These integrations can, in general, be activated by Acuite users without any intervention by Acuite support staff, however each integration may have specific requirements that must be met before being used.

IPM:

IPM is built on top of Microsoft Dynamics and as such is heavily customisable. To that end, it is likely that we will need to analyse your specific IPM implementation, and potentially customise the integration to match. In most cases this may simply require mapping your field names to ours but each case will vary. What follows are details assuming that this discovery/customisation phase has been completed.

Requirements:

  • You must have an active IPM account

  • At present we only support the Organisation and Discovery services (not Web API)

  • The IPM Organisation and Discovery services must be accessible via the internet

  • We support both HTTP and HTTPS

Additional Notes:

  • The functionality of the integration is limited by the permissions of the user that is used to connect

  • We are also limited by which Projects are accessible – this too is restricted by user permissions

  • For best results, we recommend that the user who enables the integration has appropriate permissions and project access within IPM

Setup Process:

  • The integration needs to be enabled in Acuite under System Settings -> Integrations

  • Once enabled, click ‘Configure’ to open the configuration settings for the integration

  • The following settings need to be entered:

  • Discovery URL - this is the URL to the Discovery service (e.g. https://yourdomain.com/XRMServices/2011/Discovery.svc)

  • API User - your IPM username. This can optionally include the domain (e.g. domain\user)

  • API Password - your IPM password

  • Organisation - the name of your IPM Organisation

  • (Optional) Domain - if you do not specify the domain in the username, you can add it here

  • Click ‘Test Connection’ to ensure that the details are correct and that we can connect to IPM on your behalf

  • Click ‘Save’

  • At this point you have established a connection with IPM and can configure individual projects or integration options

Data pulled into Acuite:

  • Projects

  • Contacts

  • RFIs

  • Risks

  • Costs

  • Project Hours

Data pushed into IPM:

  • Not currently available
