Acuite has already built a number of integrations with 3rd party systems which are available to all Acuite customers. These integrations can, in general, be activated by Acuite users without any intervention by Acuite support staff, however each integration may have specific requirements that must be met before being used.

iAuditor:

Requirements:

  • You must have an active Premium or Enterprise iAuditor account

  • The free plan does not have API access which is required for the integration

Additional Notes:

  • At time of writing, our integration does not support iAuditor’s ‘Sites’ feature (currently still in beta). As such there are some extra steps required to ensure that your iAuditor Audits can be attributed to individual Acuite projects

Setup Process:

  • The integration needs to be enabled in Acuite under System Settings -> Integrations

  • Once enabled, click ‘Configure’ to open the configuration settings for the integration

  • Note the warning displayed about extra instructions, and click the link supplied to open up instructions

  • Download a CSV of all Acuite projects

  • Open iAuditor, login, and navigate to Templates -> Responses

  • Create a new Response Set called ‘Acuite Projects’

  • Use the CSV upload option to import the file you just downloaded

  • In iAuditor, edit each of the templates you wish to import into Acuite

  • Go to the title section of your template (Sections -> Title Page)

  • Create a new field by dragging the ‘Multiple Choice’ option from the sidebar, and label it ‘Project Name’

  • Select the ‘Acuite Projects’ response set (it will be under ‘Global’

  • Make the field mandatory

  • Return to Acuite to complete the setup

  • In the Acuite configuration panel for the integration, the following settings need to be entered:

  • Username - your iAuditor username

  • Password - your iAuditor password

  • Click ‘Generate API Key’ to test the connection and auto-generate an API key (this key is saved by Acuite, your password is not)

  • Select which audit templates should be mapped to HSE or to Quality

  • Click ‘Save’

  • At this point you have established a connection with iAuditor and can configure individual projects or integration options

Data pulled into Acuite:

  • Audits (HSE and Quality)

Data pushed into iAuditor:

  • Projects (Response Sets - manual process)

Setting up Project integration:

  • Go to the Integrations menu under Project Settings.

  • Click on Configure, next to iAuditor.

  • The API key will be copied across from the system settings.

  • Go to the second tab:  "Sync Options" and select the "Project Audits" box.   The project name should appear underneath (because they should have been copied into iAuditor when you set up the system settings).  If they weren't, for whatever reason, you can type a name into the box underneath that, press + Add and then Save.

  • The iAuditor audits will now be sync'ed into Acuite.
