Users can be added into Acuite by the following methods:

  1. Via an integration from another system (eg, Aconex, IPM, Procore etc).

Note: we will set up the first lot of users for you, and then show you how to add a permission group and send out a password invitation email to the user.

LOADING USERS VIA AN INTEGRATION:

If contacts are being synced with Acuite from an integrated system such as Aconex, Procore, etc, the person should be added into the appropriate project in the other system (eg, Procore, Aconex etc) and the contact will be pushed into Acuite automatically, within an hour or so.

Once the person has been added to Acuite, you will need to :
Add a role (or permission group) for the person and send out a password:

Go to the Project Settings menu (or Company Settings menu) and select Companies.

  • Select the company name and click on the arrow on the right hand side.

If the user has been added, you will see their name in the list under the company name.   If the name isn't in the list, you can manually refresh the data from the Project Settings, Integrations page.  (Go to integrations, select the appropriate system name and click Pull updates).

  • Select the name and click edit.

  • Select the appropriate role (permission group) from the dropdown list.

  • If the contact details have come from Aconex you will need to manually update the email address.

  • Click the "Invite to Acuite (send password email)" button.

  • Press Save and the person will be sent a welcome email, prompting them to set a password.
