You can add an audit or checklist template to Acuite, at a licence level (if it will be used on more than one project) or at a project level.

To create an audit at a company/licence level, go to the system settings menu and click Audit Templates.  Do this if you want to create an audit to be used on more than one project.

If the audit/checklist is just being used on one project, go to the project settings menu and click Audit Templates.

Click the Create Audit template button.

From here, you will need to select whether the audit relates to Health and Safety, Quality or Relationships.  Select one of the options.

You'll then need to select a starting point for the audit.  Select "blank template" if you want to create a completely new template from scratch.  Otherwise you can select another audit to copy from and edit.

Click the Create button.

Type the Audit Name into the box.

Then click the blue Add Section button and type the section name into the box.

Click Add Subsection if there are lower-level sections to be added.

To add questions, click the Add Question box and fill in the text box.

There are a few different question types:
Compliant / Non Compliant - the person will need to select Compliant or Non-Compliant from a dropdown list
Yes / No
Text - requires a text response
People Selector - use this if you want to add a dropdown box to indicate people involved or attendees

Select the appropriate question type and then select a Time to Resolve.  This indicates the timeframe in which a non-compliant issue must be resolved.

You can then select a question weighting.  This allows a question to be weighted against other questions in the audit.  eg, you may want to weight some questions more heavily than others.  eg, crane safety - you may give this double the weighting of another question (therefore change the weighting to 200).  This impacts the overall compliance score of the audit.  If in doubt, leave the default value of 100.

Continue to add sections, sub-sections or questions until your audit is complete.

Click the Save button on the bottom left.

Once that is complete you will be able to run your first audit using this new template.  Go to the Audits page under Health and Safety, Quality or Relationships.  Press the +Create Audit button and you should see your audit in the list.

Moving Audit Questions and Sections

If you'd like to re-order audit questions, you can drag and drop the question into a different section using the handle icon on the left of the question. Just click it and drag the question into its new location.

Note: changes made to project level templates can be pushed up to the licence level template. Changes made to licence level templates will be applied to the same project level template. Changes may take a few minutes to be copied to the project level template from the licence level.

Sections can be re-ordered using the arrows next to the section headings.
