Once an audit template has been added at a licence level, it's easy to copy it to a project.  This allows the same audit templates to be used across the company by different projects and the results can be compared on the portfolio insights page.

You can do this very quickly from the portfolio dashboard, and copy multiple templates to multiple projects at once.

COPYING THE TEMPLATE FROM WITHIN THE PROJECT SETTINGS:

To set up the project audit templates, go to the project dashboard. *Note: If you are copying a number of templates, it is quicker to do this from the System Settings > Audit Templates menu, where you can copy them in bulk (see instructions in the link above).

The same process applies for health and safety audits, and quality audits.

1. Click on the Project Settings menu, and select Audit Templates.

If you don't have access to the project settings menu, you will need to get a company administrator to do this for you.

2. Click on the Create Audit button.

3. Select HSE Audit or Quality Audit from the Audit Type list.

4.  Select the audit from the Audit Starting Point list.

If an audit has been added at a licence level, it will appear in this list.  If you want to create a new audit, select the top option: Blank Template.

5.  Click the Create button.

6.  If you want to save an identical copy of the licence-level audit, click the Save button.

Note - you can add additional questions and sections / sub-sections to audits that have been copied from licence level templates, but you can't remove or change questions.  This is to keep the integrity of company-wide templates so that they can be used across sites and the results compared at a company / portfolio level.

To add questions / sections, click Add Section, Add Question or Add Subsection under the Audit Name or Section Name headings.

If you want to change the template to remove some questions, you will need to create a new template using the Blank Template option.

You'll be taken back to the audit template screen.  You should see the new project template in the list.

7.  You should now be able to complete the audit that you just added to the project.  Select Quality, Audits or Health and Safety Audits from the left-hand menu.  Then select the Create Audit button.

8.  The audit that you just added should be in the list of available audits.
