The Time (or Program) dashboard provides a summary view of the program information from your Oracle Primavera P6.

Connecting to Acuite

The program will be synced manually each month using a button on the Program/Schedule dashboard in Acuite.

Note: This functionality requires specific permissions (Can sync Program data from P6 or MS Project). If you do not see this button and the integration is active for the project, please contact your Acuite administrator for assistance.

When clicked, you’ll be prompted to confirm the program to be synced to ensure the correct version is linked. Click Request Sync to proceed.

Note: It may take a few minutes for the data to appear on the dashboard.

Selective Sync using the Acuite Plan Types

The Acuite Plan Types feature lets you tag one or multiple MS Project tasks.

The tags (e.g. Key Milestones, Project Forecast Completion, Procurement, and Client Responsibility) can be configured in the system/project settings menu under Program Settings.

After syncing, you can use these plan types to filter the dashboards and display the specific information you’re interested in.

To tag your activities in Oracle Primavera P6, you need to assign a dedicated activity code, Acuite Plan Type, to the corresponding activities.

Firstly, open your Oracle Primavera P6 file

Then, right click on the desired activity and select Assign> Activity Codes

Next, select Project and scroll down to the bottom to choose the appropriate option under Activity Code: Acuite Plan Type.

Populating some specific widgets

Depending on the setup, the synchronized data will appear in specific widgets, such as the Key Project Dates or Key Milestones widgets. See examples:

  • When you assign a task as a 'Key Milestone' plan type, it will appear in the Key Milestones widget.

Select Project, then scroll to the bottom and choose the appropriate option under Activity Code: Acuite Plan Type (as shown below).

Repeat this process throughout your program to set up all the Key Reportable Milestones in the same manner, ensuring you select at least ten. Then, save the file.

  • When you assign a 'Forecast Completion Date Marker' plan type to a project end date, using a 'Forecast Completion Date Marker' plan type, it can be imported into a Key Dates widget:

Select Project, then scroll to the bottom and choose the appropriate option under Activity Code: Acuite Plan Type (as shown below).

This will automatically sync the project end date with Acuite. When you're ready to sync, save your P6 file.
