Loading images into Acuite is a great way to showcase progress on your project, in addition to providing a good historical records. You can see the images on the project dashboard, quality page (in defects) and in health and safety incidents. These images can be included in your detailed project overview reports.

1. Select your project in Acuite. Click on Image Gallery in the left menu bar.

When adding images to the image gallery, you can save them into category folders. The default categories are General Image, Health and Safety and Defects. Images saved to the General Image category are shown on the project dashboard. Images that are entered into the Health and Safety incident form are automatically saved in the Health and Safety image category and images that are added to defects are saved in the Defects category.

2. Click on the General Image button to see the categories in a dropdown list.

3. To add a new category click on the + Add Category button on the right hand side and type the category name into the box.

4. To upload an image click on the Add Image button.

5. Select an image category from the dropdown list and select Browse to upload a photo from your computer. If you are using a tablet or phone, instead of clicking on the "Browse" button, there will be a camera icon. Click on this and you will be prompted to take a photo or upload an image from your device.

6. You can then enter an image name (by typing over the filename), although the uploaded filename can be used as a default.

7. Enter a description into the box.

8 Click on the green upload button.

9. You will see a message on the page: Success! Image/s uploaded. To see your image, go to the appropriate category (by clicking on the category list, ie, "General Image").

10. You will notice if you hover over an image you can see the filename and date uploaded.

You can also delete the image from here by clicking on the trashcan icon.

Things to Note:

- Maximum file size to upload is 10Mb.

- There is no limit on the total number of photos you can upload.

- You can only upload one photo at a time.

- The date on the photo is the date LOADED, not the date the photo was taken. If you want to save the date that the photo was taken you can include this in the description. Otherwise, it can be useful to save progress photos in folders with date names, eg, December 2018.

- These images can be used in the Overview Report. You can add an image to the cover page and also add another page of images at the end of the report, eg, progress photos.
