Now we'll set up the Quality module in Acuite so people can start running checklists / audits and logging defects.

Adding Locations and Drawings for Defects

When logging defects, you can select a location of a defect and drop a pin on a drawing.   To set this up, you'll need to start by adding the locations and drawings for each project in the project settings.

This is done individually for each project.  You will see to set some locations (eg, Level 1, Level 2, Facade, Zone 1, Zone 2, Basement etc).  Then you'll upload a drawing for each of these locations.  When you go to add a defect, you'll then drop a pin on the drawing and add the defect details.

  • Go to the project by clicking the project name

  • Go to Project Settings menu and click Location Plans

  • Click Add New Location and enter your location name in the box

  • Click on the plan icon on the right and upload your drawing

Adding Audit/Checklist Templates

When setting up new checklists in Acuite, first you'll need to add the template to the licence and then copy it to the project.

Adding the template to the licence is done within System Settings > Audit Templates.  Copying it to the licence is done within the Project Settings > Audit Templates menu.

When people start carrying out audits/checklists, they might want to assign an issue to someone to resolve. Here's some useful information on how this works:

You can add QA checklists, Health and Safety audits and Relationship audits, all from within the Audit Templates menu.  Just choose the audit type that you want to add, when creating the audit.

Next Step:  Confirm your Health and Safety settings.
