Acuite offers great flexibility in managing user and group permissions with high granularity. Permission management in Acuite is straightforward: you either allow or deny actions.

IMPORTANT: Permissions and groups are cumulative. A user in multiple groups inherits all their permissions. To restrict access, Deny specific permissions, which override any other permissions. For example, if John is in both the Quality Managers group (with 'Add defects' set to 'Allow') and the Safety Managers group (with 'Add defects' set to 'Deny'), the Deny permission will prevail, so John will NOT be able to add defects.
