The Acuite -  MS Word integration is provided as an add-in to MS Word which needs to be installed in the user’s environment.

If you are having trouble installing this add-in, we have listed some common problems/solutions below. If your problem is not listed, or you need additional help, please contact Acuite directly.

The installer shows an error stating that the .NET Framework 2.0 must be installed

This error message may be shown if you try to install the add-in on a brand new computer. We've included some steps to install the .NET Framework below:

Step 1: Open the Control Panel

You can find this by opening the start menu, and searching for 'Control Panel'.

Step 2: Click on 'Programs'

Step 3: Click on 'Turn Windows features on or off'

Step 4: Tick the box labelled '.NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)

Step 5: Click OK

At this point you may be prompted to download & install required files from the internet. Please choose this option to allow the installation to continue.

Step 6: Re-run the Acuite Word add-in installer

Once the .NET Framework has been installed, you can run the Acuite add-in installer again and it should work without any further issues.
