Acuite has integrations with a number of systems such as Procore, Plangrid, and Aconex Field, to import defects.

Defects are extracted from the source system and sent to Acuite at regular intervals throughout the day.    Defects are imported with details such as name, description, location, photos (if applicable), due date and assigned sub-contractors.  Defects are assigned to sub-contractors within the source system (such as Procore), not within Acuite.

Any changes to defects such as adding comments, photos and assigning sub-contractors must be done within the source system, rather than Acuite.   If you make the changes directly in Acuite, they will not be sent back to the source system.
