Assigning Actions to Audit Questions

Assigning non-compliant issues for someone to fix (internal or sub-contractor)

Sometimes when you're completing an audit, you will want to assign an action to someone for a non-compliant issue.

Note: this will apply if you're filling in the audit/checklist directly in Acuite. If you've completed it in an external system, it's likely you'll assign the responsible party in the external system.

You can assign an external company/person to a question or one of your own team.  The same process will apply.

You can assign a sub-contractor to an audit question even if they don't have a login for Acuite, however they have to be set up within the contacts list.  This is in the company or project settings menu, under Companies.  (Get in touch with a system administrator in your company or ask us via the chat button in Acuite if you're unsure).

You can assign an action to the sub-contractor and once you have saved and locked the audit, the question will be emailed to them.  **Note:  they will only be emailed a PDF with the question that has been assigned to them, not the whole audit!

To assign a sub-contractor to a question:

  • Click on the Add Subcontractors button underneath the question.

  • Click on the sub-contractor name from the drop-down list that appears.

This will assign the action item to ALL of the people set up within that sub-contractor company.

  • The email will advise them that they have been assigned to an issue to resolve.
