Occasionally, when multiple integrations are importing data into Acuite, duplicate companies may be created in different formats. "See the example below where the same company appears under three different names:
Having duplicate company names in Acuite can dilute insights, as data is split between the duplicates instead of being consolidated.
Acuite provides a method to merge these duplicate names. Once merged, the companies will continue to be combined automatically when new data is imported from the source system.
To merge companies:
Click System Settings
Then, click Companies
Then, click Merge Companies
Search for the company name you want to keep as the primary, and select it from the list.
Select the company to merge into the primary one.
Click the 'Add company to merge' button to include additional company names.
Once finished, click Merge
To verify, search for the company name, and you'll see that the duplicates have been merged as well as any records attached to these companies.
